Unity Search is working with a publicly traded company in Downtown to hire a State Tax Professional. This role is looking for candidates with 2+ years of state income & franchise tax experience.

In this role, you will:
Prepare U.S. state and local corporate income & franchise tax returns, including preparation of all forms, schedules, attachments, and supporting workpapers.
Prepare state modification computations, analysis of enacted tax legislation, and other supporting calculations for compliance and tax accounting purposes.
Prepare estimated tax payments and extensions.
Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting entries to record payments, required adjustments, reclasses, and other needed journal entries.
Work on the accounting close process with respect to ASC 740, including account analysis and reconciliation.
