Starboard Shop Retail Associate

Responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional and personalized shopping experience for resort guests and visitors.
• Assist guests in selecting apparel, accessories, gifts, and specialty merchandise that best fit their needs and preferences.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
• Execute visual merchandising standards and maintain product presentation through stocking, folding, replenishment, and display maintenance.
• Support the management team in achieving sales goals and promoting The Sea Pines Resort brand.
• Build rapport with guests through professional, knowledgeable, and friendly interactions.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.
• Participate in store promotions, seasonal merchandising changes, and special events.
• Maintain product knowledge to effectively communicate features, benefits, and brand offerings to guests.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Prior retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and eager to contribute to a positive and engaging workplace.
• Ability to build relationships with guests and provide personalized recommendations.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).
• Requires clear communication, visual focus, and use of hands for handling merchandise and maintaining displays.
• Ability to move, organize, and replenish products throughout the store.
