Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Join our team in a fast-paced meat processing facility producing meatballs, hot dogs, hamburger patties, and ground beef. This role operates in a refrigerated environment 0°F-40°F and requires a strong commitment to safety and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a stand-up forklift in cold, wet conditions.
- Move finished products to shipping and storage areas.
- Replenish production lines with materials and supplies.
- Perform material handling and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
Schedule:
- Sunday -Thursday.
- Daily overtime is frequently required based on production needs.
- Overtime, including Fridays and Saturdays, may be required.
- Premium pay available after 8 hours worked per day and on Sundays.
Requirements:
- Stand-up Reach/EPJ/Sit-Down required.Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable performing physical work in a cold environment.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Good personal hygiene practices required.
- Dress Code & PPE:Steel-toe, slip-resistant shoes required.
- Dress in layers for cold temperatures.
- No hooded sweatshirts (hoodies) permitted.
