Shift Options

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:45 PM
• 2nd Shift: 6:15 PM – 5:00 AM

Precision Staffing Services is currently hiring Stamping Press Operators for a growing manufacturing facility in Fairfield, OH If you have experience operating punch presses, progressive presses, or other metal stamping equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you!

Position Summary

The Stamping Press Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring stamping press equipment while maintaining production goals and producing quality parts. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor stamping press machines during production
• Load materials and maintain press operation to minimize downtime
• Perform visual quality inspections throughout the production process
• Use calipers, gauges, and inspection fixtures to verify part quality
• Complete production according to Kanban schedules
• Accurately document production results and operator data
• Maintain machine efficiency and production targets
• Keep work area clean and organized while following 5S standards
• Properly handle totes, skids, and scrap materials
• Assist with routine machine upkeep and housekeeping
• Troubleshoot minor production issues to maintain quality and efficiency
• Follow all safety policies, environmental guidelines, and company procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing experience required
• At least one year of experience operating punch press or progressive press equipment preferred
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attendance and reliability

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Move containers and production materials as needed
• Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, machine noise, and exposure to processing oils
