Southern Staircase, an Edge Building Solutions company, is seeking an experienced Stair Installation & Delivery Technician to join our growing construction team.

We're looking for someone with a solid background in carpentry, framing, or woodworking who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship.

This is not a driving-only position. You'll transport stair systems to construction sites and play an essential role in the installation of custom staircases for residential and commercial projects.

Your Responsibilities

As a member of our installation team, you will:

• Install custom straight, curved, and specialty stair systems at active construction sites
• Read blueprints, layouts, and project drawings to complete quality installations
• Measure, trim, level, fasten, and assemble stair components using hand and power tools
• Safely transport stair materials using a 26-foot box truck
• Load and unload products weighing up to 75 pounds
• Provide warehouse support when operational needs arise
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while representing the company professionally

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

• At least 2 years of experience in framing, carpentry, woodworking, or a related construction field (Required)
• Experience operating common carpentry tools, including saws, drills, levels, and measuring equipment
• The ability to interpret blueprints and construction layouts
• A valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• A DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to regularly lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds and work in outdoor construction environments
• A dependable attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality craftsmanship
