Description
The Staffing Specialist is responsible for posting open positions, managing our applicant tracking system, coordinating onboarding, and preparing reporting. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, and external and internal applicants. They will ensure a successful transition from candidate to team member by facilitating a welcoming on-boarding experience for the candidate. This position is also responsible for monitoring recruiting metrics and updating reports on hiring progress.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure job descriptions and knockout questions are accurate, up to date, and aligned with hiring needs.
Post and manage job openings in applicant tracking system and on job boards.
Ensure completion of pre-employment requirements (background checks, MVR, etc.)
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires.
Support continuous improvement of recruiting and onboarding processes.
Prepare and update hiring progress reports.
Other duties as assigned.
