ABOUT OUR HUMAN RESOURCES TEAM
PATH's Human Resources Team is comprised of multiple divisions within HR, such as Payroll, Employee Relations, Staffing and Recruitment, Compensation, Leave of Absence, and Benefits. ABOUT THE STAFFING AND RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST
As part of the HR Team, the Staffing and Recruitment Specialist carries out various duties related to the staffing functions of the Human Resources department. These tasks may vary depending on departmental needs.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs and requirements. 
  • Draft job advertisements and job descriptions that maintain compliance with various legal and contract requirements. 
  • Open positions within the applicant tracking system and related websites and facilitate the hiring process between applicants and hiring managers. 
  • Source, review, and prescreen resumes to determine appropriate qualifications and to match applicants with job requirements.
  • Interview applicants to determine qualifications and relevant skills, work history, training, and education. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant job posting boards and recommend appropriate job posting boards for open positions.
  • Maintain EEO compliance by reviewing job ads and hiring decisions to ensure an equitable recruiting process for open positions.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of applicants in accordance with relevant legal and compliance requirements.
  • Attend job fairs and organize in-house recruitment events.
  • Perform internal reporting related to various staffing metrics.
  • Keep current on legal requirements and Federal and State laws related to talent acquisition.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) years of experience in staffing and recruitment in all levels of the organization from entry-level to executive staff and human resources management OR an equivalent combination of training and experience beyond an Associate Degree. 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications, candidates must:

  • Have employment eligibility verification
  • Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
  • Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
    • Tuberculosis Test
    • Background Screening
    • Drug Test

DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must: 

  • Have reliable transportation
  • A valid driver's license
  • Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
  • The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage

We are a California employer. Therefore, all regular and customary work must be performed within the state. Approval for work outside of the office, does not establish approval for work to be conducted outside of California.

PATH does not offer fully remote positions. While some roles may include a schedule that involves multiple designated worksites or approved off-site locations (e.g., hybrid schedules), this does not imply that work will be performed from home. Many positions are fully on-site with no off-site work. All work schedules are determined by the responsibilities of the role and operational requirements, and may be adjusted at any time.
