Description
Job Title: IT App Developer II
Location: Wilmington, NC (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $44–$48/hr
Duration: 11 Months
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; occasional overtime
Job Description
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise applications supporting manufacturing and business operations.
- Enhance existing applications to improve performance, functionality, system reliability, and production efficiency.
- Translate manufacturing and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support application testing, validation, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
- Modernize legacy COM executables and DLLs by migrating to .NET and .NET Core architectures.
- Troubleshoot application, database, server, and system integration issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and support manufacturing application improvements.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
- .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
- C#, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio.
- SQL Server and relational database design and development.
- MVC architecture and API development/integration.
- Client/server application development.
- Object-oriented programming principles.
- Application debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Enterprise application development and support.
Preferred Skills
- Python, VB.NET, and SSIS.
- Entity Framework or Dapper.
- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
- Internet Information Services (IIS) and Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ).
- SQL performance tuning and application optimization.
- Git, Azure DevOps, or similar source control tools.
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including Camstar.
- Manufacturing application support, production troubleshooting, and manufacturing data collection/reporting systems.
- Integration with manufacturing equipment, enterprise systems, and quality or traceability systems.
