Description

Immediate Staffing Coordinator contract opportunity with our skilled nursing facility in Holtsville, NY.

Note: Must have prior Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator experience in a healthcare setting (nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital or long-term care)

Pay Rate: $30/hr

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Job Details

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and coordination of nursing staff within the long-term care facility
This includes managing the staffing levels, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and addressing any scheduling issues that may arise
The role involves effective communication with various departments to guarantee the appropriate allocation of resources and maintain a qualified and skilled workforce
Manage monthly calendars and staff callouts appropriately by following proper protocol
Answer nursing department phones
Handle timeclock reports and attendance records
Assist nursing and human resources departments as needed

Qualifications

Must have prior Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator experience in a healthcare setting (nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care)
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Smartlinx required
Must have professional demeanor, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
