What You Will Do

• Architect and develop full-stack web applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features from conception to launch.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the engineering team.
• Ensure code quality through testing and best practices, creating maintainable and scalable systems.
• Contribute to system design discussions, leveraging your experience to improve architecture and performance.
• Engage with product and design teams to incorporate user feedback into product iterations.
• Participate in hiring processes, identifying and referring top talent to join the team.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
• Proficient in TypeScript, with deep expertise in both frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, MongoDB) technologies.
• Proven track record of building and shipping products from 0 to 1 in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers, contributing to team growth and success.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical decisions and trade-offs effectively.

Preferred

• Familiarity with additional frontend frameworks such as Vue.
• Experience working in the ecommerce or marketing technology sectors.
• A history of continuous improvement initiatives within engineering practices and team culture.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $190K to $240K, accompanied by a generous pre-IPO equity package. This company values its employees and offers a collaborative remote work environment.
