Staff Software Engineer

The Staff Software Engineer will design, develop, and scale high-performance backend services supporting ride, fleet, dispatch, payments, and service-management platforms. The role requires strong expertise in Kotlin/Java, cloud-based microservices, REST APIs, SQL, Kubernetes, and distributed systems, with a focus on building reliable and scalable solutions for transportation and mobility applications.

• 8+ years of cloud software experience.
• Experience running and optimizing production-grade systems for maximum efficiency and resilience.
• Extensive experience with the design, implementation, and operation of backend microservices.
• Proficiency with Kotlin or Java, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Experience running production services using cloud infrastructure such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Bachelor's in Life Science, Engineering, Chemistry.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with Spring Boot-based microservice architectures, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience in transportation, robotics, logistics, or autonomous vehicles.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka.
