About Harris County Juvenile Probation Department (HCJPD)
Harris County Juvenile Probation Department (HCJPD) is the third-largest juvenile justice agency in the country and the second-largest department in Harris County, employing over 1,200 professionals dedicated to youth justice transformation and reform. About Residential Services:
The Residential Services Division consists of a Juvenile Detention Center and two post-adjudicated facilities. The facilities house youth who are awaiting court and youth who are placed into the department's custody by the juvenile courts. The facilities provide direct care and supervision for all youth placed with the department along with providing mental health and behavioral treatment programs.
Position Overview:
The Staff Services III - Driver is responsible for operating the shuttle from the parking lot to the job site. The safety of passengers is the prime responsibility of this position. The driver must gain familiarity with the route. This position is considered an essential position.

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
Grant-funded Full-time | Operating one of two eight (8) hour shifts:
Typical workdays are Monday - Friday
6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and/or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Weekends if necessary.
Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department.
