In our time of growth, we are seeking an RN or LPN for Bradenton Family

Work Location(s): Bradenton, FL

As part of this role, you will

• Responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing the patient/family, and charting.
• Collaborates with health care providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the needs of patients and peers
• Maintains positive, effective communication with providers, supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
• Oversees the patient triage process by Certified Nursing Assistants/Phlebotomist and Medical Assistants.
• Ensures providers' orders are directed to the various appropriate departments
• Knowledgeable / Assists providers as requested with exams, procedures, removal of sutures, etc.
• Completes authorizations and referrals for patients in a timely manner
• Knowledgeable in walk-in triage and interventions regarding patients aged under the leadership of the Charge Nurse
• Licensed LPN and RN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or

American Safety and Health Institute Required

• Cardio Department ONLY: ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association,

American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute Required

• Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency preferred

This individual assures that services are administered utilizing professional standards with a strong focus on quality, timely care and exceptional customer service under the direction of the medical provider. Assist in the maintenance of an environment conducive to the health, training, and well-being of peers and patients. This individual may have to float to sites as needed at the direction of the Department Head or designee.
