    Description

    Our client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Staff RN for their Lancaster, OH location.

    Responsibilities:

    • The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process.
    • Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation of care.
    • Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the established FMC policies, procedures and guidelines.
    • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process.
    • Provides quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care/pathway.
    • Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
    • Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process/pathway.
    • Notifies physician of pertinent observations and changes in the status of the patient.
    • Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner.
    • Implements physician orders as written.
    • Assures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.

    Requirements:

    • Associate degree in nursing.
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
    • Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
    • CPR required.
    • Experience: Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Problem-solve and facilitate resolution to issues; demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities; Make independent decisions.

    Certifications/Requirements:

    • BLS/BCLS
    • PALS
    • NRP
    • C-EFM
