Position Introduction:
The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Research Assistant to support a growing portfolio of clinical, translational, and/or basic science research projects. This position plays a critical role in advancing the department''s research mission by providing technical, administrative, and operational support for funded research activities. The Staff Research Assistant will work closely with principal investigators, faculty, research staff, and collaborators to assist with study implementation, data collection and management, laboratory procedures, regulatory compliance, and research coordination. The successful candidate will contribute to the execution of research protocols, maintenance of high-quality data and documentation, and achievement of project milestones. Equivalency/Substitution: Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.
