Position Overview

A leading nonprofit hospital is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join one of Southern Arizona's busiest Emergency Departments.

The newly remodeled 70-room ED treats nearly 100,000 patients annually and features private treatment rooms, a dedicated CT scanner, and advanced emergency care technology.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and treat emergency patients using ESI guidelines

• Manage high-acuity cases including STEMI, stroke, respiratory failure, and trauma

• Administer medications and emergency interventions

• Monitor patient conditions and respond to critical changes

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Support patient safety and continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience required

• Active Arizona RN license or eligibility

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & Vistelar certifications required

• Strong emergency assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume ED
