Job Summary and Qualifications

Provie appropriate respiratory care specific to the population in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. Assesses, plans and implements appropriate respiratory plan of care based on the cardiopulmonary needs of the patients. Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care and recommends revisions to the multidisciplinary care team. Demonstrates expanded knowledge base through participation in ECMO program projects and activities. Flexible schedule to cover the needs of the ECMO patients during ECMO runs. 

What you will do in this role:

• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Prepare and operate clinical equipment and circuitry per ECMO policies.
• Maintain and assess ECMO circuit function.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and recommend revisions to the multidisciplinary care team.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse New Hampshire license required
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Previous ECMO experienced preferred.
