Medical Advanced Care (Pulmonary) Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Direct Hire
Shift: Days & Nights Available

Compensation
$32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000 (Nights) / $7,500 (Days)
Relocation Assistance: Available via sign-on bonus after 100 days of employment

Additional Earnings:
- Queue Care Add-On: +$2.00/hr
- Night Add-On: +$2.00/hr
- Night Shift Differential: 15% of base rate

Join a 38-bed Medical Advanced Care pulmonary unit. With a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio, this high-acuity unit specializes in complex pulmonary and medical patients, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, BiPAP support, ventilator weaning, DKA management, chest tube care, and titration of cardiac drips. The unit emphasizes teamwork, education, and a strong supportive culture open to RNs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care for high-acuity pulmonary and medical patients
- Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and respiratory support devices
- Monitor and titrate cardiac drips and other therapies as ordered
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families throughout treatment and recovery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Will train RNs of all experience levels (new grads accepted)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
