Job Summary: This role will own the strategic direction for a critical part of the tax filing product, focusing on enhancing both current usability and future AI-driven personalized features. You will collaborate extensively with engineering, design, and other teams to translate complex opportunities into tangible product roadmaps and successful launches. The ideal candidate thrives on improving foundational experiences while pioneering innovative, trustworthy AI capabilities for millions of users.
Key Responsibilities:
Define product vision and strategy for core filing, balancing short-term needs with long-term investment.
Prioritize opportunities to improve product accuracy, user experience, and customer confidence.
Lead development of AI-powered features to simplify customer effort and boost outcomes.
Partner with design and engineering to create intuitive and trustworthy user journeys.
Utilize data and research to validate ideas and drive continuous product iteration.
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience leading complex consumer software from concept to delivery.
Strong ability to partner with engineering on technical design and AI/ML features.
Deep customer empathy, translating technical concepts into simple, trustworthy experiences.
Domain / Industry Experience:
Experience in fintech or other regulated industries where accuracy and customer trust are paramount is preferred.
