Position Overview

A Magnet-designated, nonprofit teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center is seeking an experienced pediatric or neonatal nursing leader to support its Pediatrics, PICU & NICU services.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Charge RN, Preceptor, or emerging nurse leader ready to advance into management while maintaining clinical involvement.

Responsibilities

• Support daily pediatric and neonatal unit operations

• Lead staffing, patient flow, and clinical coordination

• Mentor staff and promote employee engagement

• Drive patient safety, quality, and family satisfaction

• Support budgets, performance improvement, and change management

• Assume unit leadership responsibilities when needed

• Maintain specialty-specific clinical competencies

Requirements

• BSN required

• Active Maryland RN license

• 3+ years of Peds/PICU or NICU nursing experience

• Progressive leadership experience (Charge RN, Preceptor, etc.)

• Membership in a professional nursing organization

• AHA BLS required

• NRP, PALS & S.T.A.B.L.E. within 6 months of hire

• Pediatric chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred
