Responsibilities
NORTON RHEUMATOLOGY SPECIALISTS, a part of Norton Healthcare located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist to join its growing team. The group has six rheumatologists, one advanced practice provider,and regularly collaborates with clinicians in subspecialty disciplines such as dermatology, hematology, nephrology, orthopedics and pulmonology.
The ideal candidates will work in an outpatient care setting and be part of a practice that serves more than 15,000 patients each year. About the position:
Opportunity to treat a diverse range of patients and a wide variety of inflammatory diseases and conditions
Access to on-site technology, such as a laboratory and X-ray, and close proximity to Norton Infusion Center
On-call coverage split among providers

Norton Rheumatology Specialists are located on the beuatiful campus of Norton Women's & C Hildren's Hospital located in the St. Matthews neighborhood of Louisville, KY
Infusion services available on site
The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.

Required:
Doctorate Degree
