Staff Physician, Diagnostic Radiologist (Community Division) - Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging, McGovern Medical School

UTHealth Houston is recruiting Diagnostic Radiologists to join its growing Community Radiology Division, serving Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.This new practice model is designed for radiologists who want the pace and flexibility of community practice while retaining the resources, subspecialty expertise, benefits, and long-term stability of a major academic health center. Position Highlights $525,000 base salary under the current compensation plan Up to $50,000 annual performance incentive $40/wRVU for production above the applicable annual threshold 10 weeks planned non-clinical time, including CME and sick time On-site and fully remote opportunities Approximately 1-in-5 weekend coverage for the core diagnostic team Monday off following a worked weekend, planned without deduction from the 10-week non-clinical pool Approximately 30 evening/swing shifts annually, with a planned $500/shift differential Defined community practice focused on three Memorial Hermann hospitals No routine teaching or research requirement Access to UTHealth Houston subspecialists, peer learning, educational programs, and professional development UTHealth Houston / UT System benefits and retirement programs for eligible employees Internal opportunities for additional compensated clinical work The PracticeThe Community Radiology Division is being built as a dedicated community practice, not simply an extension of traditional academic service obligations.Radiologists will provide high-quality diagnostic interpretation and consultation within the designated Memorial Hermann community hospitals.
