    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiatrist to join a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of physical impairments, focusing on rehabilitation, pain management, and improving overall function.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and manage a wide range of physical disabilities and conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and neurological disorders.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans that may include physical therapy, therapeutic exercises, medications, and non-surgical interventions.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Perform procedures such as injections, electrodiagnostic, and other therapeutic interventions.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
    • Educate patients and families about their conditions and the rehabilitation process.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Medical Degree (MD or DO): Graduation from an accredited medical school.
    • Board Certification/Eligibility: Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
    • State Medical License: Must hold or be eligible to obtain an active medical license in the state of practice.
    • Residency Training: Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
    • DEA Certification: Possession of a valid DEA registration or the ability to obtain one.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in a physiatry setting, with a focus on rehabilitation, pain management, or musculoskeletal care.
    • Strong clinical skills in non-surgical treatment options, such as injections, electrodiagnostic, and therapeutic exercises.
    • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
    • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
