Position:
An opportunity has arisen to join the adult mental health inpatient team in NHS Ayrshire And Arran. As a Registered Nurse working at the Woodland View facility within Ayrshire Central Hospital site you will assist in the provision of high quality nursing care, providing person-centred, recovery focused interventions and nursing therapies as part of a Multidisciplinary team.
Hours:
The following posts are available - Ward 11 - permanent post 36 hours per week and a part-time RMN covering for maternity leave A flexible approach to shift patterns will be essential across the 24/7 period.
What you will do:
As a registered Mental Health Nurse on Part 3 of the NMC register, you will be an integral member of the in-patient team, providing high quality clinical care for people with mental health difficulties. You will have delegated responsibilities for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, ensuring that your clinical practice delivers high quality care. The post holders will support the nursing team in the provision of safe and effective clinical practice and assist in the enhancement of patient's experience of care.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:
The post holders will also contribute to the delivery of the departments objectives whilst working in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a well-developed knowledge of care of people with mental health problems. The post holder will display a positive attitude towards enhancing the care experience of service users. You will have a willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base and be able to provide evidence of professional development
