    Salary: $79,000–$125,000

    About the Role

    This senior-level Staff Engineer serves as a key technical contributor supporting process and structural engineering for complex, Engineered-to-Order (ETO) products. The role leads high-impact projects from concept through completion while providing technical guidance, design expertise, and cross-functional support across the organization.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Lead process and structural engineering design for specialized and ETO projects
    • Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
    • Review sales orders, specifications, and estimates to ensure technical accuracy and scope alignment
    • Collaborate with sales, estimating, purchasing, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers
    • Support manufacturing, assembly, and testing activities related to design and functionality
    • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues throughout the production process
    • Serve as a technical subject matter expert and mentor engineers and designers
    • Support quoting efforts by evaluating customer requirements and developing technical solutions
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, manufacturability, and reduce rework
    • Maintain engineering documentation and document control procedures
    • Lead projects from concept through completion, ensuring milestones and scope are met
    • Travel up to 15%, including international travel, as required

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
    • Professional Engineering (PE) license required or ability to obtain within one year
    • 5+ years of experience in process and/or structural engineering
    • Strong knowledge of process systems, structural analysis, and applicable industry standards
    • Experience with FEA, AutoCAD, and Inventor
    • Strong communication, organization, and project leadership skills
