    Job Summary – Staff Electronics Engineer, ISR

    - Role: Technical owner and hands-on contributor for full lifecycle of aircraft and launcher electrical systems (design, integration, troubleshooting, testing, data analysis)
    - Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (C2H) or Direct Hire
    - Location: Irvine, CA (On-site)
    - Key Responsibilities:
    - Lead full PCB design cycle (requirements, schematic, component selection, layout, bring-up, verification, testing)
    - Design, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems and subsystems
    - Create system interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses
    - Update designs for product improvements, obsolescence, or requirements changes
    - Conduct peer and cross-disciplinary design reviews
    - Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams for new product development and deployment
    - Mentor engineers and promote sound engineering practices
    - Focus Area: Advanced UAS and ISR aerospace platform development
    - Required Experience & Skills:
    - 10+ years in electronics engineering
    - Strong background in complex PCB/circuit design, bring-up, signal/power integrity, and system integration
    - Deep understanding of analog/digital/mixed-signal/RF circuits
    - Proficient with electronic test equipment and CAD tools (e.g., Altium)
    - Excellent problem-solving, planning, communication, and interpersonal abilities
    - Preferred Experience:
    - Electronics design for robotic/aircraft systems, microcontrollers, serial/high-speed interfaces, firmware/software integration
    - UAS/UAV experience, small-team R&D environments, familiarity with MIL-Spec hardware
    - Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
    - Security Clearance: Not required
    - Travel: Minimal (occasional, approx. once per quarter)
    - Physical Requirements: Able to stoop, stand, climb, lift up to 25 lbs, move between worksites
    - Export Control: Must meet U.S. export control/ITAR requirements
    - Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
    - Compensation: $170,000 – $210,000/year + annual bonus (based on experience/qualifications)
