The Staff Electrical Engineer will lead the design, development, validation, and production release of complex Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) supporting next-generation Battery Management Systems (BMS) and electrical architectures. This role owns the complete hardware development lifecycle, including requirements definition, schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, board bring-up, validation, troubleshooting, sustaining engineering, and production support in a safety-critical energy storage environment.
Own the complete PCBA development lifecycle from concept through production release.
Develop electrical requirements, architecture documents, block diagrams, and design specifications.
Perform component selection and schematic capture using Altium Designer.
Lead multi-layer PCB design and layout reviews.
Review PCB layouts for:
Signal Integrity
Power Integrity
Manufacturability (DFM)
Reliability
Coordinate vendor DFM reviews and production release activities.
Develop board bring-up procedures and validation strategies.
Perform hardware debugging, verification, and root cause analysis.
Support sustaining engineering and field issue resolution.
Generate:

Decision Matrices
8D Corrective Action Reports
Participate in design reviews and technical decision-making.
Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of Electrical Engineering experience (5%2B years with Master\'s degree).
Extensive experience with Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD tools.
Experience owning complete PCBA development from concept through production.
Strong schematic capture experience.
Multi-layer PCB design experience.
Board bring-up and hardware validation expertise.
Experience throughout the complete hardware product development lifecycle.
