Regularly updates internal and external customers regarding effective educational and researched best practices on topics including but not limited to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and/or special education, using a variety of communication channels and delivery methods. Maintains current knowledge of state and federal regulations and professional standards pertaining to continuing professional education for educators. Researches, develops, and markets revenue-generating creative approaches and tools/resources to be offered on the local, state, and/or national level, as evidenced by evaluation of approach, tool, or resources by multiple sources who have used the product, as requested. Collaborates with and across departments to manage services that meet the current and future needs of customers and the goals of the LIU.

    • Understands organizational development, change principles, and applies these principles to promote improvement within the Division.
    • Per forms other functions as assigned by the Division Director. SCOPE AND IMPACT This position works independently with all employees within the LIU and individuals and organizations outside the LIU. Ef fectively responds to internal and external customer requests for a variety of consultative services, including but not limited to support of educational team planning efforts, instructional strategies, data collection, or progress monitoring. Seeks, builds, and expands successful collaborative relationships to be innovative and grow in his/her expertise and revises services after review and reflection of customer or supervisor feedback. Fosters positive and supportive relationships within local, regional, state, and national communities.
