Staff Designer I

Experience: 3-6 years, non-licensed architectural staff

Professional degree in architecture; 3 to 6 years of experience. Assists in project design coordination, develops creative concepts, and prepares presentation drawings under supervision of Project/Senior Project Designers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience with similar scope projects
• Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree; licensed or pursuing licensure
• Useful design knowledge in building types comparable to WDG's portfolio, master planning, construction basics, codes, and zoning

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with design documentation under supervision of Senior Project Architect, PM, and Senior Designer
• Produce graphic presentations, design models, and presentation materials
• Conduct design, material, and code research
• Participate in architectural and interior design coordination with a holistic perspective on spatial quality, systems, lighting, and budget

Skillsets

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Enscape, Bluebeam, and MS Office
• Competent across project delivery phases with ability to work independently within team settings
• Basic knowledge of design trends, material application, building systems, and sustainable guidelines
