Position: Staff Chaplain
Location: Benton Franklin County
Type: Full Time
Anticipated Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Position Overview:
The Staff Chaplain at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy provides compassionate spiritual care and emotional support to hospice patients, families, and caregivers as well as contracted facilities, their staff, and the community, while managing an active patient caseload.
Through Chaplain offers individualized spiritual assessments and interventions that address end-of-life, grief, and bereavement, with sensitivity to diver cultural and religious backgrounds.
Additionally, the Chaplain contributes to community crisis intervention, and upon provides debriefings and support sessions for staff and community members.
This position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care, while upholding the mission and values of Tri-Cities Chaplaincy
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in divinity, theology, psychology, or a related discipline from an accredited school of higher education.
Demonstrated commitment to obtaining board certification as a chaplain, with progress reviewed annually.
Ability to manage a patient caseload and work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Completion of Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training or must be obtained within twenty-four (24) months of hire date.
Competency in Electronic Documentation.
Available to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as part of the on-call rotation.
This position is designated as safety-sensitive and will require pre-employment drug testing, which includes cannabis testing in WA State.
Ability to report to assigned work location(s) as scheduled and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, as driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements

Compensation
Hiring Range: $26.53/hour - $36.07/hour
$3000 Sign on Bonus: New hires are eligible to receive a $3,000 bonus upon successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment in good standing

Hiring Range: The starting pay range offered to new hires, depending on experience and qualifications.

Screenings: Pass criminal background and drug screenings.

Training and Orientation: Complete agency and departmental orientation and required training programs.
Continuing Education: Complete ongoing education, policy reviews, and training be designated deadlines.
Licensure and Certification: Maintain current licensure(s) and certifications(s) required for the role.
Language Proficiency: Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Work Availability: Be available to work as assigned or scheduled.
