As a battery systems modeling engineer you will develop, improve, and correlate cell and pack electrochemical models that will help inform product decisions. You will use the model to guide architecture teams in trade-off studies, improve multi-objective system level optimization, release plant models for the BMS and communicate cell design improvements to meet performance and energy requirements.

    What you'll be able to do:

    • Create and own battery physics models of different fidelities
    • Develop advanced lifetime models for current and next generation cells
    • Drive product direction and cell design based on model recommendations
    • Integrate versions of the cell model with the vehicle model
    • Define requirements for thermal and pack components based on cell aging & warranty
    • Work with experimental teams to get new types of data needed to improve analysis
    • Support future roadmap scenarios
    • Create DVP for cell testing
    • Correlate and improve models with field vehicles

    What you'll be able to do:
