Staff Attorney- Cable Company- 75k-120k ( on-site)Chester, NY
Premier cable company seeking a Staff Attorney to join their legal compliance team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely legal advice and counsel on a broad range of business, regulatory, employment, commercial, marketing, consumer protection, and operational matters.
- Structure, draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts, agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis using traditional and technology-enabled research platforms, including AI-assisted legal research and document review tools, while independently validating legal conclusions.
- Advise business stakeholders regarding developments in applicable laws, regulations, administrative guidance, and case law impacting the telecommunications and broadband industry.
- Utilize AI-enabled productivity, document review, contract analysis, and legal knowledge management tools to enhance efficiency
- Partner with outside counsel on litigation, regulatory, employment, commercial, and other legal matters.
- Support interactions with federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory bodies.
- Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- .One to five years legal experience preferred
- Familiarity with AI-assisted legal research, contract lifecycle management systems, legal operations platforms, and document automation technologies.
