    About the Role:

    The Tax Staff Associate is one of the key parts of any client engagement, as they guide companies to make smarter decisions and build trusted relationships year after year. In order to maximize tax savings and aid clients in strategic business decisions, Tax Staff Associates must constantly be on the cutting edge of new tax legislation and methods to help clients in the best way possible.

    Tax Procedures
    • Preparation of personal, partnership, business, and trust tax returns and extensions.
    • Prepare personal and business tax projections and quarterly estimates.
    • Respond to tax notices on behalf of the clients.
    • Create and organize workpaper files and perform other assorted projects as assigned.
    Tax Research
    • Conduct basic research and sit in on discussions about tax planning opportunities
    • Participate in planning discussions.
    Qualifications
    • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.
    • Individuals with plans to pursue their CPA are highly desired.
    • Internship experience in the public accounting industry is preferred.
    • Candidates should be detail oriented and interested in pursuing a career in public accounting, highly motivated team players, and in possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
    • Possession of a Master's in Taxation is a plus.
