Responsibilities:
Provide the primary technical interface with a variety of customers, via phone, email, live web chat, and occasional face-to-face customer visits
Respond to all technical inquiries in a professional and positive manner
Resolve design issues by making product recommendations as required by customers
Exercise excellent business judgment to determine additional support as needed or escalation as required
Provide test support as needed for customer requested special testing
Work as a collaborative and professional team member in cross-functional situations with Sales, Product Management, Purchasing, Production, Distribution channel and Marketing
Requirements:
Must have experience in RF components and able to quickly come up to speed on technical aspects of these products
Applications Engineer with working knowledge of RF/Microwave semiconductors for power amplifiers, LNA, phase shifters, switches, and filters.
Experience and knowledge in software development (Python preferred but not required)
Ability to work independently and in a team, to working on solutions for issues in customer designs
Experience in a customer facing role in a sales or support environment required
Excellent business communication skills, written and spoken English, and solid presentation skills
Positive, supportive attitude in a mutually-respectful environment required at all times
Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Engineering with an emphasis in RF, plus 8 or more years of experience in design and/or test or as a sales engineer in the RF space
