    Description

    Staff AccountantThis is an in-office position in need of local applicants.

    JOB SUMMARY:The Staff Accountant must have the ability and knowledge to meet monthly accounting deadlines, complete analysis, research variance discrepancies, and make journal entries for select Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts, in addition to understanding accruals and annual budgeting. Includes other analysis and reports as needed.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Well organized person with strong analytical, administrative, and good interpersonal skills. A person who is very dependable, and who can work independently.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Degree in accountingA minimum of two (2) years General Accounting experienceExcel experience is extremely helpful

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows Explorer, and Internet Browser skillsKnowledge of Eclipse, BisTrack/Great Plains and Agility is helpfulA high-level of speed and accuracy in preparing and entering financial informationThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multi-taskAble to organize and prioritize workloadsAble to work in a team environment
