Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- Perform general ledger accounting, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Support month‑end close preparation and related reporting
- Prepare and manage business taxes, including property, license, sales, and excise taxes
- Assist with state and local tax compliance requirements
- Complete ad hoc tasks & projects as requested
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Exposure to general ledger accounting or tax‑related work
- Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP systems preferred
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
Personality Fit:
- Collaborative and comfortable working within a structured accounting team
