Job Summary
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the Accounts Payable function within the Finance Department. This position ensures vendor invoices are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining reliable financial records that support the Health Center's operations and decision-making.
Working closely with the Senior Accountant and Director of Financial Operations, the Staff Accountant will manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, payment coordination, expense tracking, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Their work directly contributes to the accuracy of financial reporting and helps ensure vendors and contractors are paid accurately and on time.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting functions within a mission-driven healthcare organization. The position provides opportunities for ongoing learning, professional growth, and increased responsibility within the Finance Department.
