LHH is partnering with a respected client to identify a talented Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization that values accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The anticipated salary for this role is between $78,000-$83,000 a year.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and general ledger activity
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare financial reports and assist with variance analysis
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-4+ years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
