We are looking for a
detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant with 3–4 years of Staff Accountant experience to join our Finance team in Riverside, California.

You will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close, strengthening accounting controls, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
What You'll Do
As our Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including:
- Preparing and analyzing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintaining general ledger accuracy and researching account discrepancies.
- Managing and supporting accounts receivable activities.
- Preparing financial schedules, reports, and account analyses.
- Utilizing Excel to analyze financial data and maintain accounting schedules.
- Supporting cash management activities, including ACH and wire transaction verification and initiation.
- Maintaining and strengthening internal accounting controls and workflows.
- Ensuring accounting practices and financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP.
- Assisting external auditors by preparing supporting documentation, schedules, and explanations of financial transactions.
- Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and departmental efficiencies.
- Partnering with management and other departments to provide accurate and timely financial information.

Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of professional Staff Accountant experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Experience with journal entries, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end close.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience analyzing financial data.
- Experience working with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar financial systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $75,000–$83,000, based on experience and qualifications.
