Staff Accountant
Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Regular Business Hours

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare journal entries and support financial statement preparation
- Process and analyze accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience with general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
