At Network for Hope (NFH), the Payroll Staff Accountant is responsible for overseeing the payroll functions of the organization, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. The position is also responsible for monthly reconciliation of benefits and journal entries, as well as oversight of the time and attendance system for the organization in conjunction with Human Resources.

Qualifications
Education: Minimum of associate degree required. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of payroll, accounting, or related experience required. 7 years of related experience preferred. Experience with electronic payroll processing, including multi-state processing, and strong understanding of wage and hour laws required. Experience with time and attendance software preferred. Experience with computerized accounting and data systems preferred. Strong computer skills with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of accounting software and MS Office. Highly detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in work.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: CPA license or intent to pursue CPA license is preferred.
