Staff Accountant Payroll

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:

• Processing bi-weekly payroll;
• Maintaining payroll master files;
• Updating and reconciling withholding-related disbursements;
• Completing employment verification documentation for current and prior employees;
• Responding to employee inquiries;
• Preparing employee census reports;
• Preparing bonus calculations;
• Using and operating office equipment as trained;
• Completing other duties and projects as needed.

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Employee must be 18 years of age or older;
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in payroll administration, business administration, accounting, or related field of study preferred;
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) credential a plus;
• At least two years of ADP experience preferred;
• At least two years of experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or automated payroll processing preferred;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams);
• Workday experience a plus;
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to handle highly confidential matters.

Salary Range: $22.50-$30.00, depending on experience.Benefits and Other Compensation:
