Staff Accountant
I'm currently partnered with a multi-million-dollar manufacturing organization near Naperville, Illinois, that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its growing team.
Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration with C-suite executives. The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business unit, including month-end close activities, accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash flow monitoring, treasury-related functions, and financial reporting.
This opportunity provides strong hands-on experience, high visibility within the organization, and the ability to take on increasing responsibilities as the company continues to grow. Job Responsibilities
- Support the Accounting Manager on day to day accounting functions.
- Support the month end process.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Review AR and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Review the balance sheet and P&L to ensure accounts are accurate and properly classified.
- Monitor cash flow and treasury needs to ensure sufficient cash is available.
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with journal entries.
- Handle ad hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed.
- Provide general support across the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other accounting credentials are a plus
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience within a manufacturing environment is required
- Self-motivated and career-driven individual with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to work
