As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across multiple entities while working closely with senior leadership.

What you'll do
- manage accounts payable processes including invoice review, coding and payment processing
- ensure invoices are properly authorized and aligned with purchasing policies
- maintain accurate financial records and support general ledger integrity
- assist with fixed asset tracking, depreciation and related journal entries
- support month-end close activities and prepare reports for leadership
- research and resolve discrepancies, billing issues and documentation concerns
- collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely transactions
- assist with financial analysis and reporting for community leadership
- provide backup support for check runs and other accounting functions
- contribute to process improvements and special projects as assigned
What you'll bring
- bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and general ledger exposure
- understanding of basic accounting principles, financial processes and controls
- experience working with accounting systems and Excel
- strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- ability to communicate effectively across teams and levels of the organization
