Seeking experienced Staff Accountants for opportunities with established manufacturing, distribution, and consumer products companies in Southern California. Ideal candidates have strong general ledger and month-end close experience, preferably in an inventory-driven environment.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and variance analysis.
Prepare financial reports and support audits and internal controls.
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to improve reporting accuracy and processes.
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and month-end close experience.
Working knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting.
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and consistent employment history.
Inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Cost of goods sold and freight-related accruals.
Multi-location or multi-entity accounting.
ERP improvements and financial reporting enhancements.
Candidates residing in Cerritos, Bellflower, Lakewood, Norwalk, Artesia, Paramount, or surrounding areas, with the ability to commute to Fullerton or Gardena, are encouraged to apply.
