LHH is recruiting for a Staff Accountant position for a service company in the Lewisville, TX area. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience to join a growing organization with a strong culture and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities include:
Manage fixed assets ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Administer capitalization, depreciation, retirements, and transfers of fixed assets.
Perform reconciliations of fixed asset accounts
Adhere to GAAP and applicable regulations in fixed asset reporting.
Support operations to track construction-in-progress and facilitate timely capitalization.
Provide necessary reports and schedules to support internal and external audits.
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to address them.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
2+ years of experience, preferably with fixed assets
Understanding of GAAP
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
