The Staff Accountant demonstrates strong attention to detail, integrity, stewardship, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a mission‑driven environment.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey Area: Accounting Operations and Financial ManagementReconcile bank statements and perform account reconciliationsPrepare and post journal entries for monthly and annual close processesPost and manage transactions between Ramp and Financial Edge softwareMaintain purchase orders and support day‑to‑day accounting functionsReview credit card activity for accuracy and proper codingKey Area: Financial Reporting, Compliance, and Audit SupportPrepare schedules and gather supporting documentation for external auditsDevelop and prepare project and financial reports as assignedEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial records through review and analysisPerform additional accounting duties and special projects as directed by leadershipMaintain confidentiality and uphold strong ethical and stewardship standards in handling financial dataReporting RelationshipsThis position reports directly to the Director of Accounting.
