Staff Accountant

Well known Advisor firm in Indianapolis, IN, is looking for Staff Accountant/CAS Associate to join their expanding team.

This role is hybrid positions (3 days in office, 2 days remote

Staff Accountant / CAS Associate: (starting at $70k) – This is a hands-on bookkeeping and accounting role within our FP&A / Business Advisory Services team. The person will execute recurring accounting work for multiple business clients and own the day-to-day delivery of a small portfolio of Accounting Basics clients.

• At least 2years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, Client Accounting Services, outsourced accounting, public accounting, or another multi-client accounting environment.
• Hands-on experience recording and categorizing transactions and completing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Working knowledge of journal entries, financial statements, and month-end accounting processes
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve routine accounting issues, and recognize when escalation is needed
• Strong organization, follow-through, accuracy, and client-service skills
• Comfort working in a technology-forward, process-driven environment
• Someone who is comfortable managing recurring work, completing deadlines, and client communication within a multi-client environment.
• Candidates must already be able to independently perform foundational bookkeeping and reconciliation work on Day 1.
