Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, cash receipts, and maintain accurate general ledger activity.
• 
  
• Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, depreciation schedules, and draft financial reports.
• 
  
• Manage event-related accounting, including revenue tracking, settlements, payouts, and expense processing.
• 
  
• Assist with vehicle licensing administration, mileage and fuel tracking, and preparation of IFTA-related filings.
• 
  
• Maintain organized documentation, support audit readiness, and ensure adherence to established accounting controls.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 
  
• 1+ years of accounting experience with exposure to general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
