Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a client in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite. Candidates bilingual in English/Mandarin or English/Spanish is a plus.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization's accounting and financial reporting functions, including month-end close activities, financial analysis, budget preparation, account reconciliations, and cost reporting. This role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting to support business operations and management decision-making. The Staff Accountant also assists with accounts payable, accounts receivable, audits, tax documentation, and special projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Accounting, Financial Reporting & Analysis (85%)

  • Analyze monthly cost allocations and identify trends in cost components to support management decision-making.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and preparation of financial statement packages in accordance with established closing schedules.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and supporting documentation on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Support accounting entries and review transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Research and assist with accounting treatment and reporting requirements under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, coordinating with the Taiwan headquarters as needed.
  • Review periodic payment reports and coordinate with Treasury to ensure timely disbursement of funds.
  • Assist with tax-related documentation and filings in coordination with management and external advisors.
  • Prepare schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
